Have you changed the oil? Any signs of leaking oil? When was your last oil change?

check the codes to get a closer answer, the wire could be loose, the oil sensor might need replacing, check oil pump pressure, the oil pump might need repair, there could be a short in the dash or under the hood

2008 Ford Taurus X the oil light comes on, stays on for a couple minutes then goes off for a couple minutes, then back on. This happens when we are driving, does not come on while the engine is cold. Changed the oil and filter. Does not appear to have an oil leak anywhere that we can see anyway.
