2017 Silverado 1500 WT Low Oil on dipstick

Had my oil change done,the dealer before this oil change
had given me a recalled oil filter, which seal had broken and
leaked oil. So i got a low oil light on my dash and checked
the dipstick and came up bone dry. So i took it in and thats
what happened. Now after that i got oil change done and
they said no leaks everythings good. First photo was the
day after the new oil change. Next photo is fast forward to
2 months later a little over 2,000 miles since oil change and
came up with barely any oil on the tip. So i took it into the
dealer again that morning and they checkes it out and after
like 5 hrs my service guy tells me that my truck was "only
down 1.25qt of oil" and that "1qt every 2,000 miles is
acceptable." But he has me doing an oil consumption test,
having me jot down everytime i fill up gas and mark down
how much exactly, and if any oil is needed to top off. Idk
how i was missing only 1.25qt of oil when the dipstick
reading was so low. If anyone can help let me know.
