Dash Cam - Direct power connect to fuse box

Question type: General

I have a dash cam and it comes with a direct to fusebox kit to share a fuse. I
can get it to work but it turns on and shuts off randomly. The specs call for a
15amp fuse. But there a very few that interact with the ignition switch. Which is
when I want it to power on/off. None of the ones available have worked well.
Hopefully, someone would see something I don't so I can solve this problem.

Hi. maybe this will help . i have a "17 silverado and had a dash cam installed . BlackVue 900s 2 channel . The fuse tap they used was the port #'d 30, with a 15A original fuse and labeled SEO ALC ( what ever that is) . the setup i have is with the a BlackVue Magic Pro . This unit cut the power(parking mode) to the cam if the truck battery drops too low, which was the cace with mine so i had to adjust the settings. I don't know enough about you're situation to give you a definitive answer. My advise drop by Best Buy and talk to them if this doesn't help . You may have to drop $50 but it would be well worth it .
