2008 Dodge 1500 5.7 Hemi

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This morning my truck had a slight miss on the
way to work. When I stopped at the store to get
fuel additive it wouldn’t start right up and when it
did had such a rough idle that it wouldn’t go into
drive without dying. After being towed home I was
able to let it idle although super rough. I have
changed all of the spark plugs now and upon
starting it there is a lot of white smoke that to me
smells more like fuelish???? Any ideas what it
could be? I can have it at a faster idle and the
smoke is worse but seems to run smooth, no
apparent noises. Anyone have an idea?

I also discovered through the codes that I have misfire of the coil on 2-8 coils. What could cause just one side? I also have an exhaust leak on that side due to a broken stud (discovered that gem today) could that leak affect the o2 sensor causing the problem with the coils? Getting a lot of smoke at idle
