2017 Nissan Altima Flooding

Asked by Marieboyerhuizinga Jul 28, 2020 at 12:53 PM about the 2017 Nissan Altima 2.5 SR

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I live in Oklahoma City. Recently we’ve had very
heavy rain. Twice this year and once last year our
street has flooded. All three times the car was
flooded, finding 5in to 8in of water in the car.
Windows rolled up no leaking around them either.
We have two other cars a Mitsubishi and a Chevy
Malibu. Never any water in there. I just don’t
understand why.

Honestly, this is bad in happening with Nissans. You can go over all the seals on the firewall and plugs in the floor pans under the carpet with a tube or a couple of tubes of gasket maker.
