New car purchasing

Asked by Maldavis Jan 06, 2018 at 02:08 PM about the 2017 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I had inquired about special pricing
through my employers benfit smart
savings program.  I received a call
feom a dealership and after
discussing a few things ahe said she
had a gret internet price on a car.
We did aome research and decided
to go to the dealership.  We wete not
allowed to speak to our sales lady
but was told by the salesman the
price on the internet was wrong and
it was over $6,000 more.  Although it
was listed as new it had 3300 miles
on it and used as a demo.  KBB
pricing was close to original quoted
price.  Is this common practice or
ahould we hold them to their original
quote.

That dealer sucked you in to work a deal. I am a Car Buyer's Advocate. I did not like the way the dealer I worked for took advantage of people. Now I work for the buyers to help get them the deals. You can see my work on Facebook at Car Buyers Advocate or contact me at Bob@CarBuyersAdvocate. I help people save Time, Money & Stress.
