lights stay on draining battery

when it rains my tail light come on and stay on, it only happens when it rains, they are draining my battery and I don't know if its a seal and a short or just a seal I should replace please help.

Sounds odd but with the experience I've had with my 96 Windstar, the first thing I'd do would be pull the relay from the fuse box that is for your tail lights, pop the case off and look for moisture. If so, you have yourself a leaky windshield.

Oh, don't forget to disconnect your battery first....
This was the solution for my Dodge Intrepid, the car window was left opened, and the fuse box was moist.....Dried it out and jiggled the fuses....car lights went out.
