Steering question
Asked by John Mar 20, 2018 at 08:47 AM about the 2017 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax 5.7L 4WD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Truck had to get towed, however, they had to turn the steering wheel, without
power, pretty hard to get the tires to turn. He had to put a lot of pressure on
the wheel to turn the tires.
Did/will this damage my steering column, power steering pump, etc.

I wouldn't think so but newer cars are so finicky who knows , do you notice any difference ?
I dont notice and changes but wondering if if would change the “tightness” of the steering. It was only one time and not an ongo8ng occurrence.
I would just keep the "feeling" of the steering for a few days. Yes, newer cars are not made like before, when they could withstand normal use and the occasional abuse.
