My new car which has a tracker installed in it with a
mileage of just 4000 turns off on its own, what could be
the problem?

This is called smart stop,engine shuts off at stop then cranks back up when you press the gas pedal,ECO system,suppose to save you gas.

No its not that kind of thing, theres some problem. I have to repeatedly start the car.

If it is not a ECO car,yes there is a issue,if it cranks back up ok but repeats this,there is and issue with the throttle position sensor,or you have a ECM problem,go have it checked by dealer,you should have warranty on this car.
