How to open H2 tailgate that will not unlock???

I need to know the best way to access (open) the tailgate that is closed and will
not unlock.... all other locks work so is not the fuse.

Mine did the same thing , but if I put the hummer in drive and move it just a little , i then tried and it opened no problem . I think it’s a sensor .. what have you found out ?

This is old but it comes up EVERYTIME this question is asked and they never go away, ANSWERED OR NOT!! SO WHAT MOST LIKELY IS THE SOLENOID HAS QUIT WORKING! I HEARD IT MAKING A SOUND LIKE A AIR TOOL BEING OPERATED, AND SOME NEVER ANYTHING! BUT THE MAIN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IS,.....HOW. DO. I. GET. IN??? WELL UNFORTUNATELY YOU CANT, WHY I HAVE NO CLUE BECAUSE ITS THE SAME WITH ALL HUMMERS!! ALL YRS AND MAKES!!! WHY NO ONE HAS BUILT AN AFTERMARKET ONE IDK! BUT THERES NONE I KNOW OF!!! SO TO GET IN YOU HAVE TO TAKE BACK PANEL OFF FROM THE INSIDE AND WHEN OFF YOU CAN OPEN IT BY PULLING ON THE 2VWIRES TO DOOR ACTUATOR! WHICH CAN BE FOUND ON UTUBE...GOOD LUCK!!
