2017 SV Rogue Parasitic Draw

Asked by Benji1233 Jun 21, 2020 at 02:12 PM about the 2017 Nissan Rogue SV AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've done a parasite draw test on a 2017 sv rogue, I've found the heated
mirrors are always on drawing 25mA, Ive removed the fuse for that circuit and
current parasitic draw is 0.91mA. I've done a diode test on alternator also not
that.
Any ideas what could be causing this Draw draining the battery?

No Warranty its a DIY job as theres no good auto electricians around that can help with this, whilst doing the Parasitic draw test, measuring the fuses for voltage drop when first connecting the leads to some fuses there was draw on some but after a second went away to 0. not sure if this is a sign of a short somewhere.

Test the mirrors and any controls and relays until you find the draw. I would disconnect one mirror at a time to see if the draw is on one side or the other.
