Led headlights

For my 09 impreza 2.5i I have noticed that with one led high beam and the other is halogen, the led will dim with the halogen for the DRL mode. I'm gonna try to make a splitter for the high beams but with a peanut bulb to see if the draw will be enough to dim both led DRL's. This had a similar effect for my 04 neon srt4 which the fog lights were the DRL's. But when the hid kit was put in it ran off one plug with a relay for main power the low beams was the DRL's. I plugged in a harness with a peanut bulb on the unused headlight plug and the low beams turned off and the fog lights turned on as its supposed to for DRL's. The peanut bulb took the necessary power to activate the DRL mode, as did the halogen high beam for my 09 Impreza. Hopefully this will help others if they want to give it a try. A peanut bulb won't be noticed at night if its tucked in a hole in a frame or out of sight.
