Tint or vin etching

What does one have to do with the other? VIN etching is anti-theft, tinting is well, tinting.
Let me guess - the dealer is pushing high priced extras? Ask your insurance company if they give a discount for the VIN etching and do the math to see if it is worth it.
I only have money for one of them . My car insurance does not give discount for my state
I'm pretty sure they can tint a window that has already been etched, but they can't etch a window that's been tinted.
If you want either of these you will save money by not buying them from your Stealership.
Your car almost certainly has window tint already. Maybe not as dark as you want. I see little reason to get the VIN etching if you can't get an insurance discount.
Tint very light So its best to do a $25 out of pocket vin etching kit and not let the dealership do it I can get all windows tinted ceramic ( film provides the best in heat rejection, but will not interfere with your vehicle's connection to the outside world. It is a non-reflective shadow color and is available in eight shades) $300 anyone can tell me if the price is high.
