Automatic car wash

Isn’t there some settings I need to turn off to go through an automatic car
wash?

My Subaru dealer says to put masking tape over the rear view camera.

The 2010-2014 OB cameras were NOT sealed against water. The 2015+ uses a different mount. Maybe it's better. If SALT is the issue, then washing it might actually be a good idea?
