2017 Jeep Cherokee

Asked by GuruN5J22 Oct 14, 2019 at 05:12 PM about the 2017 Jeep Cherokee Latitude FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Jeep Cherokee with the 2.4 liter. It stalled
and when brought in found it was down oil
causing the engine to stall. After failing an oil
consumption test and cylinder scoring i was told it
needs a new engine. Has the new engine fixed this
problem or is it simply the same rngine that i can
expect the same problem with.
