what is the GCWR of my vehicle???

Asked by GuruVDDTN Aug 02, 2018 at 11:22 AM about the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4WD

Question type: General

what is the GCWR of a 2017 jeep grand cherokee trailhawk 4x4 5.7L with 7200
tow capacity and HD cooling? the combined rating is NOT on the door label or
owner's manual. No one from the Jeep dealer to Jeep customer service has a
clue. I was told it was required on the door label by law ... but mine doesn't list
it.

Yes, it's true it should have been on the door label. The only other place it would be found depending on the state is on the title itself.

Autoblog.com lists that specific vehicle with those options as weighing 4869 pounds empty. Add a driver, and fuel at seven pounds per gallon and you will have 400 pounds more. I worked at a gravel pit where you could drive up on the scales and get a digital print out of the weight. We even had drivers who each weighed 400 pounds! Cool.
