Ram air ride suspension
Asked by RED1500ram Dec 13, 2017 at 11:01 PM about the 2017 RAM 1500 Sport Crew Cab 4WD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2017 ram 1500 crew cab with the
four corner active leveling Air ride system .
When measured at the fender well on the
front and rear the truck is 1 inch higher on
the passenger side then on the driver side.
I have taken it to the dealer twice and they
say that ram considers trucks not to be
perfect and this is Normal. I have taken
measurements on a bunch of other new
trucks with air ride and they are the exact
measurement from left to right! Any advice
or input would be awesome! Thank you!

I would check and see if the load sensors can be adjusted.

Thank you! It has non-adjustable links that connect to each sensor so it's not able to be adjusted manually. I was thinking they could re-calibrate The sensors?
Obviously you will have to carefully research your options. This may take some minor customization to achieve your goal of a level truck. Good luck!!
its a 2017 take it back to the dealer for warranty work
Any resolve to this issue? I have the identical issue.

So I found out you can buy a set of adjustable links that go to the load sensor. I am going to buy a set and put them on the driver side to raise it 1 inch. Sucks that ram wouldn't do anything about it !!!
If you don't mind, please update this feed with your results. Mine isn't exactly 1 inch lower on the driver side, it's a little less than 1 inch, So I am interested to see how easy the adjustable links that you have are.
