carrying a canoe on the roof

Asked by pet7guru Aug 07, 2018 at 04:30 PM about the 2017 BMW 3 Series 330i xDrive Wagon AWD

Question type: General

I just bought a 2017 3-series BMW wagon, and want to know if a 17-18 foot
canoe can be safely carried on the car.  I know I can get a roof rack, but I don't
see how I can tie down the front of the canoe to left and right points under the
front of the car since the underside is completely covered by plastic.
