How do I get a factory stereo out of a 1999 ford explorer eddie bauer

I have tried to get it out but it will not come
out of my dash

Not sure which radio/dash you have but try this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zccXWzP2yT4 You can also search "99 explorer radio removal" at youtube after you send the first link, and see many if not all the radio/dash combos from fords of many years and look until you find your's.

May be the solonoid or the vacuum or even the motor which spins the shaft in the transfer case itself
