Asked by Tank202 Apr 10, 2016 at 01:47 PM about the 1999 Ford Explorer 4 Dr Eddie Bauer 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Transmission pump went out on my truck. It was making a whining noise and now the truck won't go in drive.

I was told that it was a transmission pump that went out. I have 18k on the dash for miles. Now is it a possibility that the Torque convertor/ or trans pump to be replaced and it will work correctly?
