How can I report dealers with misleading ads?

Asked by DLQuick Jun 20, 2020 at 11:22 AM about the 2017 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4WD

Over half the ads in my search state the vehicle is a
premium trim model, and they end up being a base
model.  Completely misleading, and always
intentional on the part of the dealer. Makes the search
function worthless.

The Federal Trade Commission has regulations for car sales and advertisements. Below is a link that highlights misleading car ads that aren't permitted and how you can report them to ftc.gov/complaint https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0143-are-car-ads- taking-you-ride
