Replaced key and tumbler now
theft light flashing fast and won't

The theft prevention feature is not recognizing the new key. Hold the old key near the new key while cranking up. The communication with the old chip might make it work. Eventually you may have to get the Ford dealer to reprogram the car to the new key. Not sure. Just a guess.
