Can I program my 2017 outlander to lock all the doors automatically when the vehicle is moving

I guess it's possible but I see a real safety problem if ... say.. like a child releases the emergency brake (with the engine off or on) the car rolls and now your locked out of the car unable to stop it... tell me why u want to do this and I'll draw something safe

My Fords lock the doors automatically once the car moves.

I thought that feature was "mandated" so I assumed a 2017 car already had it ...but I thought .. like .. if the car were stopped and a kid released the E brake ... guess I read to much into the question

If this a required feature then a warranty repair is in order. Ask your dealer about this issue.
