CD Player

Asked by Longinus6 Jan 08, 2017 at 02:06 PM about the 2017 Jeep Renegade Sport

Question type: Car Customization

Is there anyway to order my new Renegade with a
CD player? I know that I can just rip my CD'a onto a
thumb drive, or put everything on an IPOD, etc. etc.
I do not want to. I do not like listening to music that
way and simply want my new Renegade to have a
CD player. Is there anyway to have one installed
before, or after I pick up the new vehicle?

I wanted the same thing for my 2015 Trailhawk and was told by the dealership that they did not make the Renegade OEM radio with a CD player. I could get an aftermarket but it may not fit properly or be aesthetically pleasing. The only replacement the dealership had was for a Wrangler, which wouldn't fit. He said they were the only ones Jeep was making for new vehicles at the time (2016) and that all new vehicles came with a USB input instead.
