Why is my 2006 jeep liberty reading glass on dashboard and house lights on?

2006 Keep liberty reading "glass" on dash. Door is shut and rear window wont
latch and house lights stay on as if something isn't shut. But everything is
closed.

If your rear glass won't latch, that is your problem... I had to adjust the latch on mine to get it to close properly... Involves removing the panel on the door and shimming the latching mechanism.
