2006 Jeep Liberty 2.8 CRD

Dear Reader, my Jeep Liberty ( SA  Cherokee ) 2.8 CRD 2006 has gone into limp mode and has error P0605 TCM error. VIN: *********06W200150. Part 56044737AF. Can I use this part P56044737AI from an accident dammaged CRD to replace 56044737AF  ( the last digit is an I instead of F ). and would any programing be required, or should it just be plug and play?

Just to let ya know, I replaced P56044737AI with part 56044737AF from a junkyard, and reset codes with a CreaderVI. No issues since installation 4 Nov.
