Why my Jeep don't start?

Asked by Jeremy Apr 07, 2020 at 12:14 PM about the 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2996 jeep liberty and when I parked it I had
no problems and when it sat for a winter I had a
dead battery, so I replaced it and now it won't turn
over and I had a red circle light on the dash.

Starter. The only reason why I don’t say alternator is cuz that just keeps your battery constantly charging. Check the starter and see if that fixes it.

If this is a red dot that is flashing, it's the security system. On many newer vehicles if the battery goes dead or is disconnected when the security system is armed the vehicle will shut down. Try locking and unlocking the vehicle with your key fob. Hope that helps! Jim
