Today I was at a stop light when it turned green I took my foot off the brake and hit the gas. Nothing happened. It felt like I was in neutral. I turned off my car and restated it and it worked. It did this a few times now and I wondering if anything knew what's wrong with it?

How cold was it outside, because here in Mi. It was -1below and my van did the same thing, until it warmed up, it was like the trans fluid was to thick to engage anything. after it warmed up, it worked fine. Mine has 130K ,and is over due for a trans filter, and new fluid......hope this helps
