just replaced battery, starter, fuel filter, fuel pump relay. still wont start. will almost start ,but doesnt.Also, starter makes a real nasty sound every cpl of turns

ok, starter got screwed trying to start motor for a cpl days. got new starter, new battery, fuel pump relay. still no start. aparently it was hardstarting before but always started. It seems like it wants to start,a little stumble every once in a while. Fuel pump can be herd. Starter fluid had no response whatsoever.has spark.starter makes ugly sound every cpl of turns, when it almost starts.Also, electrical is doing wierd things, and tranny pops out of gear occasionaly, hard to get reverse. W.T.F.?? The most important  issue is , wont start. messing up other parts trying. HELP, thanx

My 99 tahoe is exactly all of the same things! It's driving me crazy. Did you ever figure it out? If so what did it wind up being? I am stumped because I have replaced everything in this vehicle
