the fuse block is the problem, but gm has not had a recall. There are three relays one for the start , igniation and a smaller one for the fuel pump. if you check the relays and especailly the smaller one you will find the contacts burnt and oxidizeds, try cleaning and using electrical grease and replace worked for us Paul
ecm may be bad,it runs the FP by a fuse,or the FP is so week it wont pump, may need replaceing, fuel filter may also be stoped up.
I bought a beautiful looking{non running} 02 G.M.C Envoy {with only 170,000 miles on it}to replace my wifes 03 envoy because it has close to 300,000 miles on it. It would turn over but wouldn't start I checked and the fuel filter was clogged solid so I replaced it and the fuel pump. I am not getting any power to the fuel pump. I also replaced the cam and crank sensors. I ran a temp.hot wire from the fuse box and I could hear the pump humming but it still wont start. I also replaced the starter relay.Any ideas? what to look for next? Thanks Bruce..
