I have an 2003 Yukon Denali when I plug the back of my factory Wiring in my factory Stereo my car won’t start

I have a 2003 Yukon Denali and when I plug The
wiring harness into the stereo my gauges won’t
work only one window will go up and down the
battery light comes on the ABS and I think one
more but I get no sound out of my speakers but
my radio won’t turn on at first when I started doing
this it wouldn’t even crank over and then I just
unplugged the wiring harness from the CD player
And it started right up

I have a 2003 GMC Yukon LS my stereo keeps flashing error and everytime I program it while it's running it's fine and then when I shut it off it started back up the programs lost anybody help
