Check Engine Light

Could be anything, you need to hook it up to a code checker to find out why the CEL came on. Vibration is always a bad thing for an engine, but with the info here it could be anything from ignition or fuelling issues to serious mechanical problems.
Thanks Lars, had it towed so waiting for mechanic to open for business....hoping for the best

Check engine lights flash because there is a misfire. A misfire will quickly destroy your catalytic converter costing a lot of money to replace.

engine light starts flashing after 30 mph. before that the engine light is solid on. not really any notes of missing or lose of power.
