2013 GMC Yukon Door latch won't release

On my 2013 Yukon mu exterior door handle was broke but the inside was
working.  I ordered the handle online and replaced it. Everything felt fine so I
closed the door to test it and no neither the exterior or interior handles will
open the door.

I took the handle back off after forcing my window up and the door now opens. I guess a pinched a cable or bent something in a bad angle.
