2003 liberty will crank but not start

Check engine light come on a week ago code says catalytic problem. Was running
errands and jeep having trouble starting. When i got home i shut it off and tried to restart
now it wont start at all. I had Battery and alternator checked there good

Will turn over but not start? What was the actual code number for the check engine light?
