Windshield Wiper issues

I noticed today that the front wipers on my AWESOME Jeep, stop when on any of the intermittent speed options, or if I use the mist feature.
My question is this, does anyone know if this problem is in the control, or in the motor?

That sounds like a control problem. if the wipers will work for a sustained period on high but not on delay or mist it is in the control not the motor.

hi all , well i have 08 liberty and my wiper works fine when it s not cold but at -15 every thing start to move slowly and then every thing stop, i grease the linkage whit low temp 0 grease but the probleme is still there on the higway wiper wont work on cold temperture ,i have to stop on the side of the road and the heat from the engine warms up and the they work for a short distance, call up the dealer but they cant fine the probleme, any body have a sugestion thanks
