2003 Jeep Liberty

Asked by Pamela May 17, 2017 at 04:48 PM about the 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so my husband's 2003 Jeep Liberty is
running rough he took it to O'Reilly and they put it
on the code device and it said it was the coil pack
so he replaced it, however it is still running rough
so he replaced all the spark plugs and that didn't
help either. Any suggestions would be greatly
appricated.

This could be a bad fuel injector,if he is getting fire at all the plug,s.Remove one plug wire at a time while engine not running then crank it up, if skip stay,s the same, that will be the bad injector,if it run,s worse proceed to the next plug and reapeat untill you find the one that make,s the same skip, then replace that fuel injector.

my 2003 has individual coils. did he replace all 6 or just one. or maybe he can move the new one to different plugs until he finds the bad one
