Comparable to Jeep liberty

Asked by Aurora Oct 10, 2019 at 05:44 PM about the 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited

Question type: General

My mom currently owns a 2002 Jeep liberty,
which she loves, but is on its last leg. So I'm
looking for suggestions that are tall and
compact like the Jeep liberty, but have what
she calls "old lady features", like back up
cameras. Also, it needs to have a good turn
radius. She did test drive the new Jeep
Cherokee, but wasn't in love with it.

Might like a Dodge Durango or Dodge Journey maybe? Or a Mazda CUV.

Subaru Forester, Mazda CX5, RAV4, CRV etc.

My wife had a 2002 Liberty that we both loved. I would still have it if it was a 4X4. But, my wife's worsening mobility issues eventually started making it difficult for her to get into the car. She test drove several small SUVs and didn't like any of them until she drove a 2018 Ford EcoSport. It's tiny and underpowered, but really fun to drive around town. We've had it for almost 3 years now and she really loves it.
