Won't start

I have a 2002 jeep liberty.  I put a knew fuel pump.  
Fuel pump is working. But it won't start now

The plugs are getting fire. Before I put the new fuel pump. The old one was working. As soon as the gas was between half a tank and a quarter of a tank. The fuel pump would stop and the jeep would turn off.
