Loss of brakes and steering

Had a 1999 ford explorer v6  lose both power
steering and brakes at same time. Just wandering
what would cause this and how to fix it

Probably two different problems. Check the serpentine belt and the PS fluid level. Check the brake fluid level too.

I checked both fluid levels and they are fine but still soft brakes and steering is not there
