where is the thermostat located?

having problem with heater not getting hot had new radiator install last year keeps
discharging antifreeze not sure from where

follow the radiator hose at the top of the radiator to the motor. take off the small piece it connects to and it is located in the hole you will see. it is round and has a spring in it. i have also found out from past experiences that if you put a thermostat rated 10-15 degrees hotter than whats called for in your vehicle that the heater gets hot quicker. but you shouldnt have to do that unless your heater is taking forever to heat up

On my Jeep Libery 2005 3.7 liter its located at the bottom of the block.
