2001 Jeep Liberty blew a hose let it sit to dry fill it with water started and drove it home now it won’t start

If you used only water you may have damaged the motor. Coolant acts as a lubricant also as it is slightly greasy or slick. There may be a different problem there as well. It’s hard to say from such a brief description but also check the connection to vital components like crank or cam position sensors. If a hose blew it’s possible come antifreeze got inside the connector causing disruption in signal to said sensor. Good luck
