Will a motor from a 2000 Mustang, V6, 3.8 OSC fit into a 1999 Mustang without any major problem

You can make anyrhing fit in anything but you will need more than the engine. tranny and ECU also plus...
I don't think anyone can give you specifics on how to do it. You will need to make motor mounts, wire harness, linkage, driveshaft, ecu and more. If you do it I think you will find it a daunting challenge that will only lead you to be discouraged. If you are able to do it, I would love to see pictures of the finished installation. Good luck.

I guess I misunderstood your response... you wanted specifics and I took that to mean instructions. sorry. Now, will it fit. YES, the V6 will fit in the hole left by the V8.
I need a 2000 3.8 v6 Mustang engine harness for an automatic transmission. I can't find one anywhere.
