2000 JEEP WRANGLER SPORT AUTOMATIC STOPPED SHIFTING PAST
2ND GEAR AND WONT GO INTO REVERSE AT ALL.  FLUID DARKISH. BUT
DRIVES UP TO 40 mph no problem. then just whines and wont shift.

Transmission service may not help you at this point, wouldn't hurt to try but I think you need a rebuild buddy. Nag 1s aren't bad though. Good transmission tech can do it in a day

thinking i need a new one as well. just hoping there was a chance it was something else? torgue converter? fuse!!! im preparing to buy one and change from auto to 5 speed manual. guess its the only solution.
