When I step on the gas pedal , I hear a squealing sound. It will stop after a while then return later

as weather cools, the older battery's will lose some power and require a heavy amp load to make up the loss for a few minutes. in doing so the alternator resists greatly .unworn v ,s on v belts and proper tension as said is a must, a serpentine belt s still a v belt also if you look closely .current resistance is a factor seldom recognized but very important also
