Recently I bought a used Toyota yaris vvti engine 1999 version and when ever I slow down the car can not pick up again and can not climb a hill.

I just bought a 1998 FORD EXPEDITION in FEBRUARY HAVENT HAD ANY PROBLEMS BUT TONIGHT I WAS COMING HOME IN IT AND IT WENT INTO LIMP-IN MODE FOR SOME REASON AND ITS NOT WANTING TO SHIFT .WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM. PLEASE HELP
