power steering

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

'69 Fairlane 351ci. Power steering when driving straight ahead seem' to have a
high center spot. Pumps good , belt tension good, no fluid leaks at control valve
, steering box adjustment good and all steering linkages are tight.
Thanks for your advice...Peter

high center....ok when I turn slightly left or right there is a second or two of resistance then it turns easily
