Hi guys, I have a 1.6 Rocam Ford Ikon. It is over-fueling on the first cylinder, I
replaced the injector assuming it was a damaged injector allowing too much
fuel, problem still pursues and I go through a spark plug on said cylinder in
about a week.

Check for a damaged fuel return pipe from the fuel rail back to the fuel tank. If this is squashed or damaged it will cause extra pressure at the fuel rail. Check the resistance in the plug leads, they should be about 6 to 8 K Ohms. The spark plug gaps should be 1.0 mm. What is the compression ratio like on all cylinders ? It could be the rings.
Thanks, I will check the rail and the resistance in the plug leads as well as the compression ratio. One plug lead has been replaced and problem persisted, I've been planning on trying a new fuel rail as we've tried new spark plugs too. Thanks for the help will let you know if we get it sorted out
If you are still having this problem, it could also be one of the injector drivers in the computer box.In this case the computer box need repair.
