AC/heater fan not working
Just bought a '97 Jeep Cherokee Country
pretty cheap, knowing there were problems
with it. My first priority is to get the heat
working before winter. Fan switch does
nothing in any position. I'm familiar that
there is a resistor that could be burned out
and/or the blower fan could be bad. Where
do I start with fixing this? I briefly looked
behind the glove box but I don't really
know what I'm looking at. Can someone
help me out?
First thing to do is to check all fuses, if fuses are good, find ans swap out the fan relay, if everything checks out ok, check voltage at the climate control fan switch

Thank you! I was able to determine that the resistor was good. With some help, we found the blower fan was seized. Replaced it and I have heat. Thanks again!!!
Take out the glove box and replace the blower speed relay. Fixed mine. Knob works at all speeds now. $17.00 at advance auto parts. Same relay part number as the ASD relay in the power distribution center
