My 1989 honda accord just stopped running while driving. Could it be the coil?

My car has 92k and has had all new fuel pump,sparks every filter possible it sat for ten
years so when I bought it a year n a half ago we have replaced everything but the timing
belt and coil. Can I check the coil any way before getting one? The car runs great,I was
going 20 miles an hour and it just stopped. No sounds just came to a stop.

you mite want to have someone look at the igniter in the distributor as it mite be that.
as i had that happen to me in a 84 Subaru I owned awhile ago and finally we ended up buying a used distributor as it was cheaper to do that than to get the igniter.
90k is the base for the timing belt replacement. Does the car turn over very fast, and not try to start at all, or does it try to start but won't?
all honda's ignition switch have been recalled and all accord and civic's neutral safety switch have been recalled due to failure if you have a no crank, the ignition switch will cause your car to not crank or will kill your car while driving.
