Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have and AEM Short Ram Intake system on my 98 honda accord, and after searching the internet for two months on how to tell if the filter is dry flow or not, I have finally figured out that it is NOT!!! So many people just kept telling me it was...sorry, had to get that out. So my question is: Can I use the K&N cleaning kit on the AEM TurboFLo filter?

no, K&N cleaning kits include a light oil treatment for their filters, your AEM will gunk up and not allow air flow.
whatever your using only use their stuff, if you are using AEM use AEM dont switch
just use warm water and soap or some carb cleaner but make sure you blow all the extra out and dry it before puttin it back on
probably not the cleaning kit is probably made for a different material than the AEM filter if you have to buy a new filter i recommend getting a AEM Dry-Flow one im running one on my shortty intake its about $55 but its easy to clean and reusable for a long time
